BIXOLON Launches XT6-60N 6-Inch Industrial Label Printer for Large-Format Labelling Applications

Joining BIXOLON’s existing XT6 Series, the XT6-60N has been developed to meet the evolving labelling demands of manufacturing, transportation and logistics, healthcare and retail environments. Providing media widths of up to 6-inch (178 mm), the industrial printer delivers print speeds of up to 12 ips (305 mm/sec) at 203 dpi and up to 10 ips (254 mm/sec) at 300 dpi, to support the speed, precision and reliability required for high-volume, mission critical label printing.

Engineered with a flat and right-angle design for seamless integration into industrial workspaces, the XT6-60N features a 5-inch colour TFT touch LCD display for intuitive operations and printer management. Designed to provide consistent print quality across a wide range of media types, the printer incorporates an adjustable 8-level print head pressure control, alongside toolless ribbon tension adjustment to enable fast media changes and simplified maintenance. The XT6-60N also offers versatile media handling with support for both internal and external rewinders, making it ideal for a wide range of large-format label printing applications.

Built for demanding industrial workflows, the XT6-60N is equipped with up to 1 GB SDRAM and 1 GB Flash memory to efficiently process complex print jobs and large data files. To simplify deployment into existing operations, the printer supports BIXOLON's SLCS™ command language alongside BPL-Z™ (ZPL II^®), BPL-E™ (EPL™) and BPL-D™ (DPL) emulations, allowing businesses to integrate industrial printing into existing applications without changing the software or developing new command scripts. The printer also offers extensive connectivity options with USB, Serial, Ethernet and dual USB Host interfaces as standard and optional WLAN, Bluetooth^®, Parallel or GPIO connectivity to suit a wide range of workflow requirements.
