Amílcar reveals the hidden picture behind At The Lounge Vol. 2

“The Lounge Affair” arrives September 25, the third track in the series, showing the cover artworks released form a composition. The EP follows November 6.

SEATTLE, WA, UNITED STATES, September 23, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Franco-Venezuelan composer, producer and keyboardist Amílcar will release “The Lounge Affair” on September 25, 2026, marking the third release from his forthcoming EP At The Lounge Vol. 2, due November 6.

The new single comes with a second announcement: the cover artworks accompanying the tracks released from At The Lounge Vol. 2 are connected. What initially appear to be individual artworks are, when placed together, pieces of a larger image.

With the release of “The Lounge Affair,” another piece of that image is revealed.

The concept is central to the way Amílcar has constructed At The Lounge Vol. 2. Each track represents an individual moment within the At The Lounge universe, while the accompanying artwork forms part of a visual narrative that only becomes apparent as the releases accumulate.

A SINGLE THAT REVEALS MORE THAN IT HIDES

Musically, “The Lounge Affair” moves the project into a more intimate space.

The track is a downtempo lounge composition with subtle electronic elements, built around an atmosphere of sensuality, desire and anticipation. Rather than relying on a pronounced electronic production, Amílcar uses electronic textures to complement the lounge character of the piece.

It is the third chapter in the continuing At The Lounge saga, a project that began in 2020 and has developed through Amílcar's exploration of lounge, Nu-Jazz, Lo-Fi and electronic music.

“I wanted the releases to work individually, but I also wanted there to be something waiting to be discovered when you looked at them together,” says Amílcar. “The artwork is part of the story. Each cover gives you another piece, and when the pieces are placed next to each other, a larger picture begins to appear.”

FROM INDIVIDUAL TRACKS TO A LARGER WORK

At The Lounge Vol. 2
is being introduced progressively rather than as a single release.

The approach allows each track to establish its own musical identity while gradually revealing its relationship to the larger project. With “The Lounge Affair,” the EP reaches its third chapter before the complete work arrives on November 6.

Amílcar is a Franco-Venezuelan composer, producer and keyboardist based in Seattle, Washington. His music moves across Lounge, Nu-Jazz, Lo-Fi, Deep House, Classical, New Age and electronic music.
A vinyl enthusiast and DJ from the age of 12, Amílcar developed his musical identity through an ongoing exploration of different cultures, genres and forms of electronic production.
